Purpose and scope

The ST Official Documentation Context helps locate and use authoritative technical documents published by ST. It preserves document identity, version, source location, and citation information.

It is intended for document discovery and retrieval. It does not diagnose a project, recommend workarounds without a source, or replace the official documentation.

Context scope

  • st-docs.source-discovery finds and cites official ST documents published on st.com, including reference manuals, datasheets, errata sheets, application notes, user manuals, programming manuals, technical notes, and release notes.

  • st-docs.document-topology identifies authoritative document types and selects a minimal set of complementary documents after source discovery.

  • st-docs.raw-asset-retrieval retrieves an available official document asset after its identity and source have been established.

Assets and capabilities

The context is delivered in the cube-agentic-ai-st-docs bundle, which provides skills, an ST documentation catalog, document-topology information, official-source configuration, and retrieval examples. It searches official ST documentation, not the Sidekick knowledge base.

Raw asset retrieval is performed only after source discovery and document identification. Available formats depend on the document catalog. The host AI system receives the result and its provenance and decides how to use it.
