STM32V8 NVM programming constraints ¶
STM32V8 PCM
Power
pulse
programming mode presents extra programming
constraint: only four attempts are allowed to program the internal memory,
including OTP programming.
When setting the Option Byte PM=1, the internal memory can be programmed only five
times, four times for OTP programming, beyond this limit there is a risk of loosing the V8
devices. The tool automatically blocks this operation and raises a confirmation
popup. The user must click
OK
to continue the operation or cancel it.
Note
STM32V8 PM activation illustration is not available in this repository snapshot.
